
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the direct supervision of the Chief Human Resource Officer, the Director of Human Resources is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the administrative human resources functions of VCCHC. The DHR will oversee the recruiting, interviewing, and hiring of new staff, consult with top executives on strategic planning, and serve as a link between an organization's management and its employees.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) from a four-year university with a special emphasis in Human Resources or related field; or Current valid SPHR Certificate and five years of experience as an HR Manager in the field of Human Resources Management; or ten years of continuous experience as an HR Manager. Preferable experience with an FQHC. Ability to work with little supervision, identify and prioritize tasks, and ensure productivity to meet deadlines. Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Card. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong facilitation skills, and experience leading presentations or workshops. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Must have a reliable automobile for use on the job (mileage to be reimbursed); Subject to a criminal background check before employment; Annual Influenza, TB clearance, to be renewed every year.
